Trying to set up VM with dynamics 365 Finance & operations and facing workspace mapping issue with Visual Studio Team Services. Follow the instructions.
This can happen either when you do wrong mapping at first glance or want to use the new account associated with VSTS thereby removing the previous login. In either scenario, you may face below error
The path C:\AOSService\PackagesLocalDirectory is already mapped in workspace

Workspace Remapping

  1. Download TFS Sidekicks software

    You can download from the official website. Click here to download

  2. Enter Server name and Credentials

    After installation, you’ll be prompted to enter the Server name and credentials of VSTS and click connectTeam-Foundation-Sidekicks

  3. Go to Tools -> WorkSpace Sidekick

    Search the workspace on owner name, computer name, last access from-to date criteria.

  4. Delete the existing mapping

    Workspace space folders will be shown after the 3rd step. Select the workspace space folder click delete button.Team-Foundation-SideKick-Axparadise

  5. Now you can re-map the workspace. It won’t give this error again

    You won’t see The path C:\AOSService\PackagesLocalDirectory is already mapped in workspace error this time.
